And most media corporations have moved their operations there, and a lot of tech innovations have either moved here or to the metal moon?

Yes, and these organizations have been around a lot longer.

They are consolidating on the place tethered directly to the sun, responsible for projecting the shell around the rest of us that keeps the sun from frying us.

The goal of the Federation is to consolidate power off of all four terrestrial planets, and then shut the shell off.

Well. This thing took a turn I wasn't expecting but should have. There's a lot of stuff like this I've talked about as if its inevitable but for some reason I'm wishing I hadn't.

The problem is that not enough people are talking about it, and I can't from my position.

There isn't one here. It's the universal dogma in the air.

Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars used to have different orbital periods. Earth used to take 365 days to orbit the sun rather than the 360 days every planet in the Shell takes now.
CYPR
Very early, before any life, these planets were mostly metal and rock.
CYPR
A gas giant with an unstable orbit once used to sweep past our planets, sometimes hurdling right through them, exchanging heat and magnetism for metal and gas.
CYPR
Because of this, all the planets closest to the sun have magnetic fields capable of producing conciousness, but all of that magnetism is a fraction of the gas giant, which split into Jupiter and Saturn.
CYPR
Jupiter and Saturns' years are octaves of each other. Their activity has interplay. I know you know all this. But this is the context.
CYPR
So humans are from earth. However long ago, Kemet caged the sun and tethered it to a station to use its power for tech. The Pono humans got to space without the Old Humans help. Then the humans converted that station to the shell projector around the Earth, so that you needed their permission to leave. They do not give that permission.

Then, when population became an issue, they expanded the shell to magnetically catch and "retune" the orbital periods of the other planets. Then, because they had the power, retuned all of them to a round 360. Before then their months all had different days, which was stupid but they managed.
CYPR
This isn't how solar systems are supposed to work. The universe is more than euclidian material. Time is a property of matter just the same.

The issue they ran into was that there was more life they encountered when actually exploring the newly tuned planets. In fact, in an earthen environment, they became as rich in life as Earth.

The sharks are machines and I don't know where their souls come from if they have any. The birds are a different story, though.
